Starter Gear Repair Kit - If your starter kicks out when engaged or makes a
rattling sound & will not engage, it is usually the gear that engages with the
one on the crank has worn its teeth out (problem is actually not in the starter
motor but in the drive train system to the crankshaft, like an Auto bendix drive).
This repair kit is the solution ! Kit contains: 1pc. 447-15516-00 Gear 4
(Starter gear), 1pc. 90468-29062 Clip - (Spring clip for starter gear),
1pc. 90501-15409 Spring, compression - (starter gear spring). Fits: All 650's
1972-84. This gear assembly is located behind the leading edge of the clutch
hub and is easy to change (Clutch cover & clutch hub assembly removal
necessary).

Starter Block-Off Kit - Kit is used to block off starter motor hole when starter

starter block-off plug.(This gasket is located below front sprocket and under left

Absorbed Glass Mat(AGM) is the latest in motorcycle battery technology.

maintenance free AGM type for Mikes XS. It will bring more power and durability
to your old early 650 electrical system.

Deluxe 12 Volt Battery Charger for AGM (Absorbed glass mat), Maintenance free,

Output is 1.25 Amps, 12 volt DC (maximum 14.5 Volts). 4 Stage Microprocessor
controlled charging with automatic shutoff at full charge. 120v AC Input.

1. Qualification - Ensures battery is safe to charge, and has minimum 3 Volts.

under the same OEM part number. Ours does Not have a connector plug but
wire leads with terminals (extra opposing terminals included with switch).
You may have to fit this switch to match your bikes harness connections
in the headlamp shell.

Position 1. Red wire in headlamp shell from main harness (+power feed
from battery) goes to red Ignition switch wire.
Key Position 2. Power is fed out via 2 brown wires & 1 red wire with yellow
tracer.
Key Position 3. Power is fed out via 2 blue wires (park position-only tail
light is on).

Note: Yamaha has made various versions of this switch and all are
sold under the same OEM part number. Ours does Not have a connector
plug but wire leads with terminals (extra opposing terminals included
with switch). You may have to fit this switch to match your bikes
harness connection in the headlamp shell.
