XS650 Direct sells retail to customers in Canada only. Orders from the United States, Australia and New Zealand must be placed with our distributor MikesXS.net. Orders from the United Kingdom, Ireland, Europe and Scandanavia must be placed with our distributors Heiden Tuning (in Netherlands) or XS650 Shop (in Germany) Both stock parts and speak English - See our web links on the home page of www.XS650direct.com In Japan distribution is thru - R Projects Co. Ltd. ( Rabbit ) - See - Homepage Links. Shipments are made in Canada by Fedex (Ground) Courier Service, no signature required. Shipping is free on orders over $150.00 CND. Your tracking number will be sent to the e-mail address provided. You can use your tracking number to determine when your package will arrive, and make appropriate arrangements. FedEx as well as our company can not be held responsible for stolen packages.
Orders can be placed by Online Shopping Only and the site has been certified as secure. Site does not have a minimum order and all prices are in Canadian Dollars. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and payments by Paypal. Additions or other changes cannot be made to orders after they are placed so be sure before finalizing orders. Paypal E-Check orders will be held until the funds clear. Money orders and paper checks are Not accepted - If you cannot purchase by paypal or credit card have a friend or relative who does have these options available place the order for you. The Online system sends a notice of shipment and a Fedex Tracking number when the shipment is made (Note: If you have Blocked E-Mails/replies we will Not apply to your system to get the notice to get thru).
All prices herein are retail. Customers must pay applicable taxes for their province. (the system adds it). Actual current pricing when in dispute IS the price as listed in the online Shopping basket system. We seldom increase prices but all prices are subject to change without notice. We try to keep prices low and to do so must get the right part out the first time. Please do not order items you are unsure of. Parts do Not fit any other bikes except XS/TX650's.
SHORTAGES AND SHIPPING DAMAGE
Damage or loss in transit by Fedex courier is the responsibility of the carrier (you Must contact Fedex in case of Damage or Non delivery and make a claim). Shipments must be opened immediately upon receipt and the contents checked for completeness, damage and proper application as we will not accept claims after 10 days from date of received. If there is any damage to the order, place a claim with the carrier immediately and be sure to keep all original shipping cartons, packing,etc. The courier company will want to examine them before approving claim for payment.
* WARRANTIES *
All warranties void for parts used Offroad or for Racing use or if parts are installed on any bike except XS/TX650 models listed with each part. Parts fit only applications listed with each item.
Exhaust systems are warranted for 30 days against manufacturers defect or workmanship. Warranties do not cover damage caused by impact, modification, exposure to corrosives or deterioration caused by weather or wear. Owner is responsible for all damage caused by installation, accident or neglect. Bright chrome systems are not warranted against bluing. Warranty returns must have prior approval from our order desk and have All hardware returned.
Electrical Parts - Choose Carefully Electrical items Are NOT Returnable for any reason. Parts work on models indicated ONLY. See our Model ID charts and be sure that you are ordering items for the correct bike (We are not responsible for mixed breeds or items you have ordered incorrectly (We do not sell USED parts). Please do not order these items as diagnostic tools and always check related parts for the reason the original part failed (Many have ruined the newly purchased part by not heeding this advise).
Carb Parts - Choose Carefully, Carb Parts are Not Returnable for any reason (know what bike you are ordering parts for).
General merchandise is guaranteed for 30 Days from date of retail against manufacturers defect in workmanship or material Guarantee is limited to replacement of the unit or defective component thereof only. Any item which has been modified, subjected to misuse, neglect, incorrect installation or application is not covered.
We do Not warranty wearing items (nor does Yamaha) such as cables, rubber parts, bulbs, filters, contact points, brakes etc. unless they are shown to be defective prior to installation. Note: Some 650's have excessive vibration known to fracture frames, mirrors, headlights etc. and owners have responsibility for these problems.
NO returns after 30 days. No returns on Electrical or Carb parts for Any Reason! Chose these items carefully & be sure you know what model/Year bike you are ordering parts for (See model ID charts). Unauthorized returns will be refused. Each case will be handled individually but normally goods may be returned with a 20 % restocking charge if within 30 days of order and as long as they are new, in original packaging as received and the package is clean and unmarked. Authorization to return must be received from our order desk. Do Not order parts for makes/models not listed with the part.
